Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
We would like to invite you to
Genito-Urinary Tract Tumors:
An Update in the Era of Personalized Therapy
Focus on emerging topics in bladder, ovary, and testis
which will be held in Florence, Italy, on May 11-12, 2017
The rationale of this meeting is based on some goals:
- acquiring an update on molecular genomic advances in bladder cancer that are reshaping our approach to early detection, prognostication, and taylored therapy;
- discussing the taxonomy of basal versus luminal genotype/phenotype and the immunotherapy promise in bladder carcinoma;
- understanding the heterogeneity, the pathologic basis and the molecular features of ovarian tumors to classify them appropriatelly;
- acquiring the main clues of the most common type of ovarian cancer, including those associated with prognosis, prediction of response to platinum based therapy or immunotherapy for individualizing managements of the patients;
- increasing knowledge on 2016 WHO news in testis pathology in regard to the understanding, the classification, the immunohistochemistry and molecular data which are key points for the selection of the therapy.
